Goodbye, Danny.

We say goodbye to Danny Gokey this week on American Idol. Which means that Adam Lambert and Kris Allen will be making it to the finals that will be airing next week. He may be off AI but Danny is looking forward to making an album.

"I want to mix a very soulful album with nice beats, nice R&B beats...that get people's heads moving and mix it with the hint of a Latin vibe," he says citing his late wife"s Puerto Rico hertitage influence.

Danny will also be opening a charity foundation of his very own called Sophia's Heart Foundation which is named after his late wife who passed in July after multiple heart sugeries.

"I was a nobody, and this show turned me into somebody. I do believe the best is yet to come for me. This is not the end of the road."

seems like we'll be seeing a lot of the soulful singer very soon.
we'll definitely be listening.

As for now, we're all waiting for the american idol finale and we can't wait to see who the next American Idol will be. so VOTE VOTE VOTE!

Leighton Meester to release album in fall.

Leighton Meester - star of CW's teen drama, Gossip Girl is working on her debut album that she is releasing this fall of 09. She has signed a record deal with Universal Republic. She describes her material as "electro-pop edge".

"I'm thrilled to be welcomed into the Universal Republic fold," said Meester in a statement.

we certainly can't wait to listen to her new album!

You can hear Leighton singing on the hit tv show 'Entourage' as Justine Chapin, where she had a duet with Tony Bennett. And a song called Bette Davis Eyes. sounds familiar? This song was previously sung by Gwyneth Paltrow in a movie called 'Duets' (2000). You can hear it on youtube. here's the link:
